Terms of Service
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Who we are
SnapZoom (“the Service”) is a screen recording Chrome extension and related website operated by SnapZoom LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States(“we”, “us”). You can reach us anytime at hello@snapzoom.io or by phone at +1 307 855 1266.
2. Acceptance of terms
By installing the SnapZoom extension, using this website, or purchasing a license, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. The service
SnapZoom lets you record your screen with automatic zoom, click and keyboard highlights, webcam overlay, and editing features. Recordings are processed on your device; we do not host or store your video content.
4. Plans and payment
- The Free plan costs $0 and may be used on up to 3 devices. Exports include a SnapZoom watermark.
- The Lifetime Deal is a one-time payment of $39 USD that unlocks all features described on our pricing page, including all future updates to the product, for the lifetime of the product.
- Export Credits are a pay-as-you-go option priced at $0.10 USD per credit (one-time payment, minimum 50 credits per top-up). One credit entitles you to one watermark-free HD or MAX quality export. Credits are tied to the email address used at checkout, do not expire, and are not transferable between accounts.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
- All purchases are covered by our 7-day refund policy.
5. Licenses
A Lifetime license is personal to you (or, for team purchases, to the named users) and may not be resold or publicly shared. We may deactivate license keys that are distributed publicly or used in violation of these terms, and will contact you first when possible.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to record content unlawfully, including recording people without required consent;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the extension or license keys;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
7. Your content
You own everything you record. Because recordings are created and stored locally, you are responsible for the content of your recordings and for complying with applicable recording and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapZoom LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
